Beware of the Cable Monster!

Is your business remodeling, renovating, or relocating all together? Chances are pretty great that one of your biggest tasks will be wiring and cabling so your phones and computers work when you are all settled in again. And trust me, just unplugging your phone and computer and then plugging it in at its new home, is not going to work.

Here, let me throw some words out at you. Go ahead and stop me when you come to to one that sounds like something you would recognize.

  • Plenum

  • Non Plenum

  • CMP

  • CMR

  • Cat 5E

  • Cat 6

  • Air Circulation

I stuck the last one in so I my list could come to an end. But you get my point. You need help and Computer and Communications Innovations can do just that, which is where the Communications part of our name comes into play. For over 25 years, we have run cables through buildings to ensure our clients’ businesses are up and running when they need to be.

You see, the plenum spaces in a building are typically used to house the communication cables for a building, like for the computer and telephone networks. These plenum spaces are in areas of the building that facilitate airflow for heating and air conditioning units.

Because of their position, plenum cable is used. Plenum cable is coated with a special fire retardant jacket and is actually regulated by the National Fire Protection Association. Now I don’t know about you, but I would want a professional cabler handling this stuff so I could rest assured everything is done right and safely. Doing it myself would not even be an option.

So remember, Computer and Communications Innovations doesn’t just fix computers, they can also set up entire phone and computer networks for your renovated, rearranged, or relocated business. And they do it in a timely manner that will have your business back up and running in no time - after all, time is money.
